To celebrate the graduation, we went to the beach for the afternoon on Sunday. It was cloudy and a bit damp, but still great to go out and talk and play...some were even brave enough to get in the water. We went to a new-to-me beach called Cangrejo which we were able to walk to from the house...like 40 miles away (or so it seemed!)

I am heading down from Canada tomorrow. Ny sister in law is also involved with school building projects, Cathy Flynn, she works with the Monster Truck school foundation and also 336 (?) run by a woman from Burlington Ontario. Seems like there are a lot of people doing good things in the DR, I hope to make it home very soon. Anyhow, I thought I would just let you know that there a folks out here reading these blogs, and truly appreciate the life work you have chosen. PS a few CubaLibres dont hurt either
